How proud I am to live in our great country.

Wishing all of our veterans, and those who have defended what our country stands for a wonderful 4th of July weekend!

Summer

This Summer has been going by fast already. Each week we jam it full of entertainment....we are fun junkies. =)

We have gone to the zoo, state park with waterfalls, lots of park picnics and visiting family and friends. I just finished finalizing our condo rental and summer vacation for the end of August and we are Psyched!!!!! At least I am.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE being a STay at Home Mom and wouldn't have it any other way. But being stuck inside all winter and being with 4 bouncy children 24/7, along with homeschooling, a business, and all the gazillion things that are going on around here, I love knowing that there will be 7 glorious days away from home, and hopefully away from stress.

Looking forward to a good day, the sun is shining, it has cooled down outside, and I have places to go and people to see.....see ya'll later.

Needing to Rant

So sorry I have been gone for so long. I just sort of had life take over, and not knowing how many people actually read my rantings, felt it was one of the things I could let slide.

For the most part life has been beautiful. God has blessed us in so many ways. We have a healthy family, food, a husband with a job, a house, transportation...our FAITH!, and the list goes on.

Every once in a while, Satan creeps in and takes my happiness. Puts me in a dark place. As I tell my husband, there have always been so many issues in my life and such a rough past, it doesn't take much for one of those issues to take over my being, my mind, and my heart.

The last few days I sort of felt it creeping in, I usually can suppress it, but this morning I had a note from a loved one, that crushed me. And then the darkness was able to flood in. I have to let it go...why is it so hard? Why is it so hard to ignore when someone hurts you, when they criticize you, when they reject your love? Why is it so hard? I keep telling myself, that God warned us, He said to us, " REmember when they persecute, and utter any falsehood about you, they have done it to Me first." THat should make it all better....right? Being human can stink!

When something like this happens, it's so easy to then start thinking about all the trials of life, all the crosses we bear...I am always reminded that there are people who have it so much worse, it should make it better...right?

I am thankful for my dear friends, those who can listen and see my cry and still love me, just the way I am. Those who can go without seeing me for a couple years and pick up exactly where we left off. I am thankful, and must remember, it's not about being loved and accepted by all.

It just would be nice if those who you loved, would love you back.

This morning, even though all was going beautifully peaceful, I decided to bring more work on myself and start some deep cleaning....

Coffee Filter Wreath

I found this awesome project on a fellow, momma blogger's wall last month, and HAD to try....so, here is my take on THE Coffee Filter wreath.

I bought a cheap twig woven wreath at Michael's, and a stack of organic coffee filters at Wegman's, I wanted to go with the antique looking color, but you can use the good ole white filters too.....in fact check out my Sister-in-law's Blog to see her take on this cool wreath. Then my girls and I took each filter and folded in half, then half again, forming a rosette, then I heated up my handy, dandy glue gun, and started packing in and glueing away. I must confess, my glue gun and I have a love-hate relationship. I made the girls leave the room when I was doing this part, I kept mumbling unkind words to this sweet helper, while it kept burning my finger tips off....lol!

This picture was taken midway to show you how cool it starts looking right away. You can pack as thin or thick as you want, I started pretty thick, so it took me quite a while to complete.

The finished product looks so cool, I LOVE it! Like something you would find in Pottery Barn or something.

Whatcha think? Not bad for coffee filters, huh? And all for about $2....I say,
AWESOME!

It's that time of year

!!!!For my Never Fail Fudge!!!!

WEll, not sure if it's "Mine" but, I sure end up making alot of it....around 20 pounds of it to be exact.

And so 2 weeks ago, I made my first batch of many, thought I would share with you all too, it's a hit! Believe me, if you make for your family, they'll love you more! ***wink*** Ingredients~
5cps sugar
1 stick of butter( stick with butter)
10 ozs evaporated milk
10oz marshmallow fluff
1tsp salt

You combine all of these in a large pot, and start stirring and heating on medium heat. I stir consistently through this whole process, I think it makes for smoother, yummier fudge.

Prior to starting I prepare my pan by placing was paper, and rubbing down with shortnening, lightly.

My girls helped place all of the ingredients this time, they had a blast scooping out the marshmallow, and washing their hands about 1,000 times.

Ok, so we have combined those first 5 ingredients and we are stirring on medium heat until blended.

We continue stirring until it starts to boil, *don't mistake escaping heat bubbles for boiling* you MUST continually stir or it will scorch and burn.

Once it begins boiling, time for 5 mins while still stirring.

( Can you tell it's important to stir? LOL)

After the 5 mins remove from heat and add 1 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract

2 packages of 12oz semi sweet morsels

and 1 cp walnut meats if desired.

Stir until chocolate is melted, and then pour into prepared pan.

YUMMO!!!!

Let sit until the fudge has cooled and set ( about 24 hrs)

Then just take the wax paper up and slice your fudge, great treat and makes for great gifts to share!

Miriam's Tree

Last Sunday Itchy and I decorated and took Miriam her Christmas tree.
It was very special. Itchy by far feels the loss of her sister the most of the children.
She was VERY excited to take the tree to her baby sister. And to pose for pictures.
Can you tell?She wanted Miriam to have the elf that was holding a package to be on her tree, so that Miriam would know that Itchy wanted her to have presents from her.
I know Miriam has the ultimate gift of eternal life with her Savior. I just still REALLY wish she was here with me celebrating His Birthday.

******Mr N turned 3***** I can't believe my sweetheart is getting SO big!
He wanted cake pops and a Woody/Buzz cake, so we made both.

2 of my 3 boyfriends! =)

He received tons of fun gifts, many noise~makers....thank you family!

He LOVES "his" soccer ball! I think it's pretty cool too.

Mommy and Daddy got him a big Buzz that sleeps with him and gets carried everywhere. Woody will be joining him on Christmas! ;)

There are some new hats in the shop! I had the priviledge of taking some pictures of my nieces this weekend, and we made up some fun hats for them

The first was a coordinating set of stocking hats, made with thick stripes and finished with thick braids, making adorable little elf hats.

I also made a few fair isle ski hats to add to the shop, I can make in an array of fun and bright colors, and sizes, just drop me a note and we can whip up the perfect hat for you!

Jasper has made himself at home. He hangs out with Mr M while he is in his jumperoo.

He is confiscated to play house with Itchy, and is a good sport.

He hangs out on the floor to play ball, and hockey almost daily.

He LOVES baths, treats, and having his belly rubbed.
He fits in around here quite well!

I am sorry I have been MIA!

There are many reasons, too many!
Here is just a little one
Yes, we got a puppy. I mini schnauzer. We chose these because they are hypo allergenic. They don't shed, they grow hair, that we will cut. Do not be afraid of him getting his puppiness on any of my creations, my yarn is kept in a locked room he will never enter, and he is in his crate when I knit. So we are safe there.
He has been a very good puppy, very few accidents, never goes in his crate, doesn't really whine at night ( ;) and for the most part obeys commands. Overall little Jasper has been great with the kids and any family.
We love having him join our crazy happenings. So stay tuned to life with Jasper

Been Knittin' Up a Storm

Sorry for the overload of pics, I had a hard time figuring out which one's were which when uploading...so you get to see them all!=)

I found this awesome curly-Q yarn at the shop, and had to give it a try. It was so colorful and springy, I decided to just knit it in the round in a large tube. And I came up with the most fun and perfect neckwarmer/hoodwrap/scarf/shawl....whaddya think?
Cute, right?

I LOVE it! It fits me too, and I wear it around the house all the time! On my neck to keep me warm, or pull it up on my head to keep my hair out of my way...lol! Talk about a perfect mom accessory...it multi-tasks like we do!

I bought some other colors I will be working up soon as well.

I have also been busy making up lots of fun and chunky blankets.

Perfect for photo props, baby blankets, lovey's, and gifts. I can make in a variety of colors, so drop me a note and I will do my best to accomodate.

Here is my little munchkin, getting SO big! He is sitting all by himself in this basket! I can't believe how quickly they get independent =( He is already more than a half a year old! Where did it go?

I made him a new version of a sock monkey hat. My husband loves this one the best.

Pumpkin FarmLast Monday we enjoyed our day with daddy by going to the pumpkin farm. It was a nice day, just chilly.
The kids enjoyed checking out all of the many displays.

There were so many beautiful mums, and fall cabbages, and decorations. I LOVE this time of year.

Little man is teething, and for the past couple weeks, that = NO PEACE FOR MOMMA!

I know you've all been there, you know what I am talking about!

No sleep, no showers, no eating, no going to the bathroom without the "said teething baby" screaming for comfort!

As the picture below so beautifully illustrates the statements above, I had become desperate!

I had heard about the new rage of amber teething necklaces.

After a little research I said....golly, what could it hurt!?!?!

I received our necklace this morning. I had already prepped dear hubby for this accessory for which I knew he would think I had jumped OFF the band wagon. But, since he was pretty much as desperate as I was to see our beloved love bug return, he said, let's give it a whirl....well, let me tell you...I am now also in LOVE with AMBER NECKLACES!

I put the necklace on little man as soon as it arrived, he ate lunch, and went down for a nap, the first one in 2 weeks, and he slept 3 hrs!!!!! Both dear hubby and I kept checking on him to make sure he was still breathing. He woke up happy and was content for 2 more hrs before fussing for dinner! We could NOT believe it! WE are now both believers! The rest of the night has gone smoothly and he is actually asleep for bed! Something we have not been able to get him to do for over 2 weeks now! Coincidence...I think not!

Infant Loss Awareness Day

A picture from last year. At 7 pm, we joined those throughout the world morning the loss of our baby. We all lit a candle from 7 to 8pm, across the world, a wave of light shines brightly in memory of our angels, and to show that we never forget.

Grief at the loss of a child, it's much more complex that one can explain.

For me, I can't even figure out how to talk about or manage it.

When Miriam died, My heart was broken, gone, ripped from my chest, and I did not know how I was suppose to breath. I cried for so many days, my eyes were practically swollen shut. I would sob on my husbands shoulder, asking where I had to go, what I had to do just to see her, I NEEDED her! I tried not to actually think of her day of birth, watching her stuggle, and dying in front of my eyes. When I would think about it, my chest felt like an anvil was being pressed on it, and I would start to hyperventilate, and then start to throw up. In all honesty, that has not changed....it is still that fresh in my mind and heart.

There are so many ways to think about her death. To be practical, I tell myself, my goal as mother is to get all of my children to heaven....I know that is my job. If you know me, I live my life to fulfill my "jobs" to the best of my ability. So I tell myself, I am doing my "job" well. I have two precious souls in heaven, since both babies lost were baptized. Ok...that should be of some consolation, right? Sometimes........

The human part of me, the mother side of me.....I don't get it! I don't get it!

Aren't I doing a good job Lord? Don't you know I will love and take care of my children? Don't you know I will teach them about you? I love my children with my whole heart! Why was my princess ripped from me without a chance to snuggle her, a chance to feed her, a chance to change her diaper, without a chance to bath her, to inspect her eyes, or her toes, or to hear her cry? These things play through my mind every day, and many a sleepless night.

I know in my head that my princess is undescribably happy with Our Lord in heaven....but someone has forgotten to tell my heart.

Anyways, back to confessing my addiction. Seeing that I am a "seasoned" mother, and seem to have tackled most of the newborn milestones 4 times now, I decided to give cloth diapering a full blown try with Little Man. After doing the math for each child and the money spent in diapers, it nearly made me sick! Esp seeing that your throwing all of those thousands of dipes in the landfill....what a waste ( pun intended). So I took the plunge and started buying different dipes I found for sale, here and there. I already had some Fuzzi Bunz, which I had a few of from Mr N. I was searching for the softest and cutest, functionable one's on the market! DEFINITELY found them in Goodmama
I have quite the stash built up, I'll have to snag a picture of them to share with you all....eye candy! There are SO many adorable prints out there! I am a fool for stripes, and have several sport, and animal prints for Little Man too, I even have bought a couple, "couldn't pass up girlie deal dipes" too....how sad is that?
Besides the adorablitity factor...they are made from organic bamboo velour and organic cotton...both lovely, super soft, and absorbent for your little precious bambino!
I LOVE washing my dipes and placing all the liners in the dipes, matching the colorful snaps. Lining up the dipes, looking at all the beautiful prints.

My little munchkin is growing up so fast! He is a chub monster, and due to this, I am trying to keep up with keeping his tummy full...no easy task. He is a picky eater! He already has quite the mind of his own and only likes to eat things he can hold...ugh!

I, as a over-achieving momma, have been making all of his baby food. Besides the fact I have really been trying to feed my sweet family healthy, fresh made food, it does save money.

I like thinking that everything I feed my precious is safe and free from preservatives.

By far his favorite stand by is bananas, easy enough.

The peas here I made fresh and was quite proud of myself. Steamed them to perfection, then blended with some fresh applesauce. I tried it, it was absolutely DELICIOUS! Too bad he didn't think so.

Another baby favorite ( and momma's too) around here is sweet potatoes! YUMMO! After baking and putting in blender, I added some apple juice to get to the perfect consistency. All very yummy, and VERY inexpensive.

Rainbow cake Complete!

A few posts back I shared with you all the making of a rainbow cake.

I wasn't able to share the finishing touches. SO......

We all made another cake, JUST so I could share with you how delicious this cake really is!;) After baking the cake.....see post "Rainbow Cake" below.

I made the icing from a container of whipped cream icing, 1 1/2cps whipped cream and a packet of jello. I beat it all together well. The jello did make it a *tad* gritty, but not too bad, and it made the flavor of the REALLY creamy icing, very yummy!

First Day of School

We started school here on August 30th. Kindergarten and 1st grade is what I am teaching. We are having a wonderful time so far. The girls are still very enthusiastic, and every day we put in at least 4 good hrs, with continued learning throughout the day. With homeschooling, everything that happens throughout the day and in normal family life may be used as a wonderful teaching tool. It is SUCH a rewarding feeling when you see your child learning to read, spell, comprehend, learn to add, subtract, etc, and that you were the one able to teach it to them.

To all my other homeschooling momma's out there, hope you are having as smooth a sail as we are!

Hang onto your hats!

Life is speedin' by likea freight train!We have been one very busy family lately!

Not sure where to start.

We have been having TONS of fun with friends and family. SEveral times a week we gather for good food, and good company....good times had by all!

We have been busy doing little projects on the house, which I really need to share with you all, just haven't gotten around to taking pictures.

I started school this week, or should say, the "girls" started school this week.

I have had our books for quiet some time, and just decided this week was as good as any to begin. With our program, we give two good solid days, an easier-review day, and then two good solid days again. It seems to work well for my 5 and 6 yr old. Since it is Kindergarten and 1st grade we are dealing with, everything is running very smoothly! The girls actually are asking to do more work throughout the day, and excited every night to begin school again in the morning. ALWAYS a good sign!

The challenge~My boys!

Yes, I love them to pieces! More than words can say! I never knew I could love this many little people so incredibly, muchly!!! ( yes, I know that isn't a word ;)

*******BUT ******

they have been HUGE stinkers lately!

Little M, well he is one, big, chunky, boy! And he didn't get this way all by himself....oh no! He had his momma to help. He is an around the clock feeder, that one is! LIVES for food. It's all well and good until someone looses an eye. Shut eye that is. Trying to start food with my little man in hopes to contain his hunger for more than an hr at a time.

Mr N...well, he is just having the terrible 2 problems, along with being lost with momma and his sisters doing school every day. I know he will adjust, it is just going to take some time for my little man. He is growing SO quickly! He is potty trained, sleeping in his big boy bed, and he now gave up his blanket, which means very little thumb time! WAY TO GO BIG BOY!

I have almost completed my super large order...that means I will be opening my etsy shop again....hopefully this coming Monday!

Today I overhauled the basement ( MAN WHAT A WONDERFUL FEELING!!!!), made sure the rest of the house was clean, did my workout, normal duties and chores, made homemade salsa, and now I need some sleep, before school in the morn.

I decided to be artistic with our cake this morning! All over the blog world I have seen people making "THE" rainbow cake, so I gave it a whirl. I wanted bright colors, so I bought the Classic White cake mix and used only egg whites. I then divided my batter into 6 bowls, and mixed my ROY G BV...lol! The only way I still remember how the colors go!

I layered into my pan and baked at 350 for 45 mins. It turned out in one piece, but we are eating it tomorrow, I'll take a picture of a piece then! So excited. The kids think it looks like Tie dye! They were there supervising every step!

Yes, we are all a little grumpy around here. We have a serious case of allergies...for some nothing more than watery eyes and some sniffles, others....our asthma is kicking up, BIG TIME! momma included! IT STINKS! I got all of 2 1/2hrs sleep the last two nights because I am coughing my lungs up!

Enough complaining, I told you I would let you know what I am up to, and that I shall.

Last week I threw a bridal shower for a dear friend. I wanted to make it super special. It was TONS of fun! It's just always hard to do everything you would like when you are a momma to 4 little one's...being able to sneak out and shop and the decorate and prepare is always tricky.
I also was trying to finish painting my kitchen....the hard part. The "wall of cupboards!" More of that in another post.

WE all enjoyed some great food and company!

Then on Sunday I had our Itchy's 5th birthday party!

I can't believe she is 5 already!

She is my sensitive little one. She was by far the easiest labor, and baby! Gosh, you never knew she even existed until she was almost 3. When she was a baby she ate, sat and slept! All of them VERY well! LOL! She didn't crawl, she scooted like a gorilla, using her arms to hop along. She decided to walk at 15 months. She has eyes that melt butter, and all of her uncles hearts. She loves babies, chips, candy, snuggling!

I LOVE you dearest Itch! SO MUCH!

Little Man hit 4 months last week too! I can't believe how fast time is flying!

He weighs 15 1/2 lbs and is 27 inches long! A BIG boy! He is finally sleeping better and in his crib in his room shared with his brother. All going pretty well!

Silence

Like any mom, sometimes I just need a breather, a chance to collect my thoughts in peace and quiet. I don't know about you, but it can be awfully hard to think of ANYTHING during a normal day in my house. I am pretty sure it's like that for most momma's.

My favorite place to think, or just be in silence is walking the cemetery, and visiting my little angel girl, Miriam Rose. Sure I see her almost every day, most of the time we only stop to say a quick prayer and tell her how much we love and miss her. WE ask her to pray for us, to help us all live as God is asking us so that we may join her one day. We always end our stop with, "See you later alligator!" It is so sweet, even Mr N knows the routine and goes through the routine like a pro!

This picture is one I took last spring of the chapel that stands in the cemetery, isn't it beautiful?

Last night daddy was working, so as I do often when I am solo with the children, we grab a picnic dinner, or quick burgers and fries and have a picnic dinner with Miriam. I LOVE it! The children do too, they get very excited about eating with Miriam. They pull out the large blanket in the car and talk to her while eating.

As mom, there is nothing more comforting to me to see how my children handle the cross Our Lord has given us. Death to them is not as scary as most think. They comprehend even more than I realize. Itch has the most trouble with her sister's passing. I often wonder on how this will impact her life. I say life, b/c I truly think it will forever deeply impact her. She talks about Miriam daily, wakes at night sobbing for her, and in her actions, and words I can tell my little sensitive girl will never be the same. None of us will ever be as we were before. In some ways this is good, as we now have our little family saint we can go to and talk to and long to see again in heaven. Then there is the deep, heart wrenching pain that is felt every day. Different in each one of us, but yet always there. She would be almost a year and a half, I sit and wonder what she would look like, what would she be doing? What would her favorite foods be? Would she be a blonde or brunette? Would she be laid back or a spitfire? Would she be a momma's or daddy's girl? Who would she follow around the house the most? What songs would she be dancing to? Would she love shoes, dresses, being a princess? Or would she be a tomboy? These things I will never know.

Yesterday Nic was snuggling with me as usual and he picked up the necklace I wear bearing Miriam's fottprints. He kissed them as usual, and then gave it to me to kiss. He said, " Miriam" as usual and then said, " Miriam in heaven with Jesus?" I said, " Yes, Miriam is with Jesus". He then proceeded to say, " Jesus is a bad boy, Felicity cries". He didn't have to say more, I knew what he meant, but had no idea where this came from, so out of the blue, since Felicity was playfully coloring in the dining room. But it hit me....I have no idea how often the kids think of her, I know I do all day, but even Nic is impacted, when I thought he was clueless.

Ok....enough of my soul sharing for now, I have to get ready for a Dr's appt.

School Shelf, Roses and Banana Splits

Momma had a birthday! Since I was an adolescent, we began to have banana splits for my birthday. My birthday cake was burned two yrs in a row and each time banana split supplies were snatched to compensate, so then we just took up the fact that "they" were much yummier than getting a cake anyway.

And so the tradition continues. FOr my birthday we go out and buy lots of yummy supplies and everyone gets to make their own banana split. Good tradition, huh?
I woke up to a dozen, lovely, white roses.

My dear husband also made me a nice, large shelf for all of my school supplies for the children. I LOVE IT!!!! It is exactly what I needed!

He did such a great job.

My dining room, all cleaned and ready for schooling when we begin next month. I have that one bare wall emptied for all the charts I will be putting up for the kids.

Battle of the Buldge

On top of all the other things I am working on daily, I have been making my health a top priority. I will admit, I am NOT one of the healthier people I know. Besides that tendency, I have put on 60 lbs since my wedding. 6 pregnancies in 7 yrs will do that, esp when the latter half of the last 4 pregnancies are spent on bedrest.

SO....I have made it my goal to loose this all. No time frame, just HAVE to do it!

I am sticking mostly to the blood type diet, which for me would have that I eat lots of meat, veggies and fruits. Refrain from grains ( most all gluten) and dairy. I enjoy making myself a yummy smoothie for breakfast or lunch. Doesn't it look tempting?
This is my almost daily lunch. Lots of dark green "greens", feta cheese, almond slices, some turkey and a Tbsp or so of white balsalmic vineagrette.

Looks great, huh?!?!

I have also been doing 30-40 min programs on my elliptical making sure the resistance is strenuous and then also trying to do an extra 10-20 min of toning workouts on my Netflix insta~play.

Nothing much has happened yet, darn non-existent metabolism. I am determined to keep plugging away though. Hope to be telling you of some sweet progress soon.

Boy's Room

Just one of the reasons I have been MIA.

I have been working on completing my boys bedroom. It's been a LONG work in progress, but we are finally getting there, and I am happy with how it has come along.

I sewed little Man's bedding myself, and am quite pleased with how it came out. He really loves minky fabric, so I incorporated this into his bedding. I made a crib skirt, the blanket and bumper all by myself with no pattern, yes, I am bragging and yes, I am patting myself on the back. Please forgive me, but I am rather proud of myself.

THe kids love the car track rug. They have some Duplo blocks, and books and such to use as well.

The shelves were already in the room, I use the baskets to hold the boys things. I know they could be even a little more organized, but for now they work fine.

They have there nice pirate, rocking ship as well, along with their truck coat hangers. If you ask me, I think it turned out sort of cute, for an amateur.

Where do I begin?

This month has been nuts! And every time I sit to blog, something always pulls me away.

I have Loads of things to tell you about, but I'll do it in seperate posts.

This post I will generalize.

On the 7th we celebrated the 4 yr anniversary of our first baby's passing. WE call him baby Nic. A miscarriage, but we baptized him and have the strong belief he is enjoying heaven with God, Our Lady and his sister Miriam Rose. The children chose a firetruck cake for him. They were SURE a 4 yr old boy would LOVE a firetruck, so we sang to him and they all blew out the candles and we enjoyed our small family party.
Little man is growing SO fast! He didn't like his swing, would stay a max of 10 mins in his bouncy chair, and really only enjoyed being held. That is....until I pulled out the jumperoo. He LOVES it! I think the fact that it lets him sit deep, and gives him some good support, he feels secure, and he is able to watch the kids play this way, and he really loves to be right in there with the rest of them.
I can't believe it! How can he already be old enough to be holding himself up in this and "wanting" to be part of the gang?

BROTHERS

I Love seeing my handsome little guys together. I know how special the girls bond is, and how nice it is to have them so close together, can't wait to see the bond between these two guys!

I am SO very blessed!

Now grant it, I am very computer illiterate, and have NO idea what I am doing. Yet, with some trial and errors, I have been having LOTS of fun playing with Photoshop on the pictures I take with my Nikon D90. I am so grateful for these two toys of mine. As a mom, I LOVE to capture my children's adorable faces and goofy expressions. I know there is SO much I could learn about my camera and the editing program, but I'll get there some day, for the time being I am content with what I have discovered. I am welcome to any tips though! I would be very grateful for any. So please feel free to critique away.

On another note, we have been potty training this adorable little boy. I didn't think it would EVER happen! He had done beautifully two other times, but both times I was VERY pregnant, and it was momma that gave up. Last week I decided I had had ENOUGH! He went two days with 100% accident rate, but I had him only in light weight cotton pants, which helped keep most of it from making it onto the floor, and would keep him really wet, he did NOT like it. The third day he only had a small accident, and since then he's been doing GREAT! I am So excited.

That is my happy thought for today! What is yours?

As I have stated SO many other times before, we are blankie people, and thumb people around here. My kids usually get attached to a blanket around 5 months, Mr M was hooked by his second month! Couldn't believe it. Obviously when I discover the one's they like I make sure to stock up. It's weird, b/c every child has chosen a different type of blanket, one likes cotton knit, another silk combo, and another a different cotton blanket. Mr M is in love with a flannel/minky one I made. So Thursday I went to the fabric shop and picked up enough fabric to make him 2 more and make my new niece one too.
Can't you just FEEL the coziness?
The minky one's are SO nice, I wish I could make one big enough for me!

This is what taking pictures in my house can get like. My kids LOVE mischief! But then again....what kid doesn't? At least good mischief. The kind that gets people giggling and can't stop, kind of mischief.

Lately Mr N has enjoyed being the family clown. The girls think it's hysterical and he SOAKS up the attention. I don't know what I would do without my 4 precious little honey's! I REALLY don't! I just wish Miriam was here to join in the fun.

I can't believe this was my little man just 11 short weeks ago. He is getting SO big! I definitely need to post some new pictures.

Anyways, the reason I began this post.

I have TWO new members in my family now. This week a precious nephew and a niece where born to sisters, my sisters-in-law. They each married brother's of my husband. Now if that wasn't confusing enough....two sister's married two brothers, and each of them had a baby this week. Mind you this isn't a first, it's actually #8 and #7 for them.

It always amazes me though how wonderful and perfect and precious they are, no matter how many you have seen or held before.

Lately I have had to say this to myself daily, twice a day, several times a day.

Yet, what mother doesn't?

The moment we became mother's we gave everything, ALL of ourselves to care for and nurture our children. From the moment a child is conceived within our womb, we give everything. Think about it...we are no longer in control of our bodies, they take over! Our eating, sleeping, comfort, voiding, you name it...they got it! Though they may take our freedom to do as we want, they have us by the heart, hook, line and sinker. They flash those baby blues, or pass us a smile and they fill our hearts with such love and joy it's unexplainable.

As a SAHM, there is absolutely no moment of my day to call my own, and that's ok with me, because at the moment there is no other place that I would rather be....***well, besides sleeping in my cozy, temperpedic, King size bed. ( But I guess it will still be there in another 20 yrs)***.

Since I give all to them, the only thing really in my control is our schedule, or so I like to think, because in all honesty they take care of that too!

Today we went to the park to meet up with a friend, after a busy morning of chores, and running to the grocery store to pick up supplies for not one, but TWO cookouts we have tonight ( one at 4 and another at 7...yeah, I'm nuts). Anyways, back to the park. We get there and start to play with the friend we met up with, immediately, Mr N dirty's his diaper, so I have to sneek back to the van to change that, then I head back to talk to my friend, only to hear Gem's start crying, I go to her and ask what happened, she fell going up the steep slide steps, she said her chest hurt and I saw her chin was all scratched up, I tell her to lift her head and see a HUGE chunk of skin missing and a very dark pocket of blood starting to pool. I gather my kids, ALL of whom are screaming, some in pain, others hungry, and still other's upset at the thought of leaving when we just arrived. My friend, who thankfully is a nurse, looked at the boo boo with me, and we both agreed we should go have it checked out. So I pack up all the kids and head to the walk in. I called daddy to let him know too. I am sitting in the walk-in with still upset children, thankfully daddy surprised us and showed up, for this I am SUPER greatful, because after we finally saw the Dr ( a little over an hr after we got there), he said we definitely needed some stitches. If you knew my Gem's, though I love her to absolute pieces!!!! Drama is the name of her game, and stitches are NOWHERE in her vocabulary. Because daddy was there he volunteered to stay for the rough job and I took the other three to the waiting room. I had my hands full mind you, b/c Mr N was tired and hungry and truly frustrated with his sandy shoes, and Itch had to go potty, and MAx was starving. Finally after 2 hrs and 4 stitches we headed back home, almost as good as when we left this morning.

So you see, with mornings like that, and the fact I still have to make 2 dinners, and do laundry, nurse, feed and nap children, and attend 2 cookouts, the need for the Serenity prayer. Without my faith, and God and Miriam to keep me going, I would be one lost momma!

Yesterday was my our 7th anniversary. The first day of summer marks the day we said "I do!"

Definitely looked MUCH younger and thinner back then, I guess that's what 6 pregnancies in that amount of time do to a woman like me. =)

I wouldn't have it any other way. I LOVE the family God has blessed us with and the life He has provided for us. Thank you God for the best man to share my life with!Love you honey!

Father's Day

Wishing each and every father out there a wonderful and blessed Father's Day.

My daddy is far away, and I am sad I cannot see him today. I know he would love to be letting the girls crawl all over him and Nic to be dragging him by the hand to go out to their barn and see the animals. Instead we sent him a package and all our love and I was able to talk with him on the phone.

Our daddy we picked up a cool Napolean Dynamite card, WHICH he thought was awesome, and a golfing outfit, which he used to go out on the course. Unfortunately he had to stop mid game since he was called into work on an emergency call...=( Just goes to show how much he loves us! We love you daddy! VERY much!

As you can tell from the above picture, he is as proud as punch when he is able to be holding his little one's!

What mother doesn't survive on coffee?

I know there may be some of you out there that can, and to you, I Salute!!!

I cannot!

Every morning, and even much throughout the day I think about and comfort myself with coffee.

So, I thought it fitting to introduce my special friends to you all. From Left to Right, we have

1) My delightful little coffee man! ***applause*** I have a special one apart from my husband's, I will 'splain later.

2) We have the newest addition!!! And if you ask me, she is just so adorable! A wonderfully, white, fresh, porcelain mug, complete with rubber grip and top. So warm, and comforting to sip from. Absolutely completes the whole comforting experience. 3) Our next item is the reason we have our special little coffee man. Since I am breastfeeding, little M does NOT take well to full strength JOE, so I have to resort to decaf, Don't get me wrong, I would be LOST without this wonderful person in my group of friends, we just consider him ''special'' ;) The BIG coffee man is still reserved for full strength, but my little coffee man provides me the pleasure of always making fresh batches.

4) We have our quaint, dainty bucket of sweet goodness ***sugar***

5) And to finish introductions, the master of creamy goodness, Mr. H&H.

I seriously encourage everyone to have a special mug, cup etc, it truly does become one of your bestest friends. You can talk to them, and they sure listen SO well, while providing you the sanity of continueing your day.
I hope you enjoyed meeting my sweet friends. They are ever so inviting.

Just joking!

We had a BLAST doing our very first tie-dye project!

Since it was SO much fun I wanted to share with you all! Just in case you would like to have some awesome fun too!

First we took some white shirts. New one's for the girls and I took stained onesies for the boys, PERFECT way to recycle!

Anyways, I washed them all in the hot water cycle, with just detergent, NO bleach or fabric softener. THen we took them out of the washer, and while wet took them to start tieing ( for some reason that doesn't look right...sorry) Here is the kit we chose since I had never done it before....perfect colors for boys and girls. Blue, turquoise and green.

Gem's started first, and wanted to do a spiral look. We flattened out her tee, and then pinched the middle, and began to spiral until the tee was completely wrapped in a tornado.

With GEm's we put on three rubber bands, it looked like a pie with 6 wedges. Itch went for a bullseye look, so we pinched the center, pulled straight up and tied on 3 rubber bands.

Here are our 6 tees for our family, we did 3 spirals and 3 bullseyes.

After tieing, I added the hot water to our dye bottles and we headed outside.

With stained clothes on and our black garbage bags, We got down and dirty with our dye!

We took the bottles and pointed the little noses into our tees and dyed away. WIth the spirals we alternated the colors with our wedges. The bullseye, we just did in between each tie a different color.

After dyeing them, we wrapped in Saran WRap and left outside in the sun for 8 hrs.

Here is the finished products. Aren't they ADORABLE!?!?!?!!

Actually sometime I will have to get a picture of hubby and me in ours, they turned out the coolest looking ;)

Definitely a very fun kids project, I WILL be doing more! I am a tie dye addict now!

This past Monday I wanted to enjoy a nice day with the fam. So I bought some picnic foods, the Sat before, and early Monday morning we packed up the van and kids and traveled a little over an hr to Ithaca, to the falls. It was a perfect day! Sunshine, breeze, 67 degrees......LOVED it!
The kids did too! We hiked a little over a mile to the falls, and then back, we had a great picnic lunch and the kids had a great time throwing rocks into the lake. We even had someone offer to take a family picture for us! I love it when people do that! Snagging a family pictures doesn't happen very often. And this lady was quick! Thank goodness....we were all even looking at the camera....SCORE!

This was mild! My little lady likes to come up with some WILD, colorful outfits! While she sings and dances....it only reminds me of some of the insane, crazy, outfits I see on Lady Gaga....silly girl!
At the least Gem's knows she can bring a huge smile to my face, and she usually gets me laughing with her silliness as well.

Here I sit...It's 1 in the afternoon and I am wishing I could start this day over!!!!

Have you ever had one of those days? You had to have had...I have them ALL the time! But today was exceptional, b/c at every turn I am telling myself this! It began very early, as usual, at 3 :40...too early in my mind, but for my honey, anything. Because of this I truly do need the item pictured below!
The other munchkin's started filtering down from 5-6am. DH left for work at 5:45. So I fed, and cleaned, and did some laundry, dishes, etc, and sat waiting for the Fed Ex man I have been waiting for all week, only to remember they don't come on Sats....shucks, it was 9 and I had several stores to go to, and I am already at the busy time. SO....off I schlep 4 kids to bank, the flower nursery and then to Wallie World, while at Wallie world my little N wanted some cookies, I picked up a pack and against my own rules I opened them to give him one. WEll, he had a small cold earlier in the week and with his asthma he still has been coughing a little, well, since he had just eaten a huge m&m cookie, he threw it up during his coughing...NICE! I heard it start so I grabbed him and held him over the side of the cart, it was on him and the floor. I grabbed my diaper bag, only to find the wipes had been left in the car....SWEET! I grabbed to of N's diapers and used them to clean up the floor and a changing pad to clean up N. Then threw everything in the garbage and washed up my hands. We hurried out of there, and then off to Wegman's. That went ok. Then for gas, in which the pumps wouldn't take my card, said..." see cashier", well darned if I was going to unload 4 kids and wait in line to see cashier to then go back out and pump my gas....so I left. I got home and ran to unlock door, I began to unload the groceries and had the kids come in to wash hands. While they were I saw Itch's bottom was soaked! I asked her if she wet herself? She had!!!! In the car!!!! and never said anything! Never even said she had to go! WHAT THE HECK????? She has never done something like this! So...I have one baby screaming in car seat because he is hungry again, N who needs to be changed from throwing up on himself, Itch who is soaked in pee, groceries to put away and now a van seat to clean up! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention it's lunch time!

Well, we all survived...not sure my brain cells did, but at least the children did!

I just ask, that someday I be rescued from this insanity!

On a sweeter note, my M is 2 months old today! I can't believe it! Hope to get some pics of him later.

Mr M and I are bestest buddies. I can't live without him, and he can't live without me! =) And I wouldn't have it any other way!
We have all been enjoying this beautiful spring, lots of outdoors time, park time, picnic time, great food, and spring cleaning.
I have been working on orders and even making a few new things. Trying to start on some inventory for the winter months. I must confess with 4 little one's now, it sure is hard to find the time. I am not as productive in the knitting as I used to be, but heck, playing with the kids is more fun! And they won't be this little and fun forever.

We have finally been getting some nice weather...and by nice, we went from 50's and rainy to 90's and sunny! This week we have been enjoying every day outside...parks everyday, lots of picnics, walks, sprinklers, pools, etc....SO much fun! I LOVE the above photo....I snapped it while they were watching geese in a pond...looks staged, huh?

Growing too fast

My little man is growing up!

I can't believe how fast they change. I am so grateful for my new camera. It is perfect for capturing all these milestones and stages my children reach. The little guy is as cute as he can be, but quite a little stinker too! =)

He doesn't like to sleep unless he is being snuggled or swaddled by mama....of course this melts my heart and I aboslutely love it, but it leaves for very little sleep time for momma, since I am too paranoid to sleep or snuggle the little guy at nite. My average is 2-4 hrs a nite....I keep telling myself, " this too shall pass". I know it will, in the mean time, I am running on steam.

Good thing my children are too loud to possibly allow me to fall asleep while caring for them during the day! ;)

Today was a very Happy Mommy Day!

One of those moments occurred that melts your heart and lets you know you're doing ok.

One of my 2 yr olds favorite words lately is "WHY?"

UGh, every mother hate's that question, and inevitably I answered the same as my mother,

"BECAUSE I SAID SO!"

Well, along with his new favorite word, my 2 yr old has been the normal 2 yr old lately and is

TERRIBLE!

So, when I decided to head to Mom's group this morning,

First in months due to bedrest, I gave him a long speech about being a good boy,

No hitting, screaming, fighting, etc.

Well, to my amazement, I was able to enjoy 2 full hrs with my mommy friends and all 4 of my kids were angels! AWesome! Amazing! I was SO excited.

Going to the car, ( which was peaceful! No dragging of yelling kids), I thanked all of them for being so well behaved. While buckling my two yr old, I gave him kisses and told him I was SO proud of his good behaviour. He kissed me back, smiled and said, " Thank you mommy, good boy, BECAUSE YOU SAID SO!"

Wow! I was amazed! I AM getting through to him! He DOES listen!

At least every once in awhile.

So when you are sitting there, in the midst of screaming, bickering, fighting children, and you are ready to pull your hair out. Try to tell yourself to stay strong and persevere, cuz eventually

THEY GET IT!

Munchkins

I really need to start trying to get more of them together, my little sweeties!
Well, I have been starting to get in some orders which helps me feel like things must be returning to normal, though I admit with only getting an average of 4 hrs of sleep a night, I like being able to just take advantage of relaxing once I get to sit and nurse my little guy, since it's the only once of peace I get in my crazy days. Though I wouldn't change it for the world.
Being Friday, it's such a great day. We got up really early, I treated the kids to D&D donuts and we headed out to check out some rummage sales. Found some much needed shirts for Mr. N, a winter coat and snowpants set for Itch for this coming winter in near perfect condition, bunch of winter tops for the girls, and some brand new white wall shelves and decorative wreaths I can't wait to put up. We also stopped by the flower nursery for a few flowers, and now are home getting in some school and laundry.
The last few afternoons we enjoy hours outside in the yard in the glorious sunshine...LOVING it!

I have finally listed my Sock Monkey Hat!

I intended this set to be little man's coming home set, but it was 90 degrees the day he came home and this is 100% wool, besides it was a little on the big side.

So today, on his one month birthday we took some pictures of him in his custom little set. Here is another one of his pictures from today!

Golly have we been hopping!

From new baby, to croup and colds, to broken collarbone's, to extremely sick extended family, to Nina's 5 day stay.....ah! Life is crazy!

So....yesterday, during daddy's day off, he decided to treat us to a family day out.

It was awesomely beautiful! And I can count as a field trip...SCORE!

To top it off, the kids were great!

Daddy took us to the zoo!

First trip to the zoo for daddy and kids!

We saw Dumbo! Alex....taking a nap.

And Shir Khan...so the kids were hyped! We spent three hrs walking and exploring and learning, in some gorgeous weather I might add. I am SO glad it is spring, and I am not pregnant so that I may enjoy this time with my wonderful family.

Sorry everyone for not blogging more this week,

besides daily bili checks for little man, we all caught colds, which for Mr "N" went right to croup.

SO! Needless to say, busy week for momma!

I have been trying in the darndest way to get shots of little man in my items to add to my shop,

REALLY not cooperating.

As soon as I set up props, and feed him full, and get him sleeping,

I set him down, grab the camera, only to find him wide eyed, and rooting for more food.

Well, today I have decided to slowly start to add things to my shop again.

It will take me a little while, since I have to redo all of my listings, since I was on vacation for so long.

He came! My little Easter miracle!

Easter Monday I went into my appt to find my amniotic fluid was too low, almost gone, so the decision to induce was made. I went 6 hrs on Pitocin, contractions every two minutes with no progress. So I opted for my first epidural. Less than 3 hrs later, my little man arrived!

He was perfect! Weighed 8lbs 3 ozs. 21 1/4 inches.

He surprised me with LOTS of dark hair!

He was SO alert from the get-go as you can tell! This is very shortly after birth! He is a complete snuggle bug, and a trooper of an eater!

For my children, jaundice is something we have to address for the first week or two. B/C of this I haven't gotten into lots of pics yet. Waiting for those birth bruises and his suntan to disappear.

He had his baptism this morning though, so he is all squeaky clean!

I HAD to take some nice photos of him looking so innocent and precious!

Well, I am still hanging in there...trying to not even think of pregnancy so the waiting doesn't get to me.

I was told if I would accept an amnio to check his lungs, they would induce. I don't want to do anything invasive though. I would rather be patient and wait for this little man awhile longer.

Though I must admit, he is already measuring over 8lbs and I am getting a little nervous as to how big he is growing. Oh well, Told myself to at least wait until this coming Monday at next appt, and we will re-evaluate then.

Meanwhile, we have been fun making friends!

I made this little guy for Mr. "N", and I want to steal him!

He is SO soft and cuddly and actually a toddler pillow size....super cool!

The girls call him "George", "N" just calls him monster. Then I made these two dolls as well. The braided one for my niece who's birthday is Sat. And then Miss GEm's requested the blonde one for herself. She LOVES her, and named her Emily.

They were lots of fun to make, and kept me busy for awhile.

This week we celebrated my eldest's birthday! 6 years old!

I was SOOOOO hoping my little man would share in the festivities!

BUT NOOOOOOOO!

He is joining my crowd of stinkers! =) I was able to go off my meds and bedrest on Monday, I have been working, cleaning, walking, and as busy as a bee to help this guy along. He has been contracting like mad, and giving me every other sign of early labor, but it just continues. Feeling these good contractions, he is following in his siblings foot~step's...trying to exit through my tailbone.

SIlly boy, the bright lights are to the right, not THAT way!

We'll see how long it takes him to figure out he is going the "wrong" way!

Waiting

We are getting there!

35 weeks tomorrow.

Monday I can go off my bedrest and loads of meds, and injections.

This past Monday little man estimated 6lbs7ounces. Big guy!

These kidney stones are starting to get the best of me, along with the regular pregnancy troubles I get, so I am anxiously awaiting Little "M''s arrival, though at the same time I want him to stay inside forever knowing he is safe in there....too many emotions rolling around in there right now.

Wish I could fast forward to his safe, snuggly time. Skip the labor, any breathing difficulties, nursery time, etc...

Anyway, when I feel up to it I have been knitting Easter bonnets for my girls, to match their dresses. This is my eldest's. I made from a vintage pattern I own...didn't it turn out sweet? We have been blessed to have some beautiful weather for the Northeast as well. The kids have been enjoying their afternoons outside with daddy, as soon as he gets home, they all treck outside. Yesterday he brought home ice cream cups for them. They LOVED it!

Hoping for some adorable baby pics next week, along with a better feeling momma!

34 weeks and Counting

Well, we made it another week. I sure am feeling this kidney. The right side of my back is screaming most of the time...but that heating pad is a wonderful thing!

I am going to try hard to get through at least another week, and then I may just call it quits, I am taking one day at a time, but man it's starting to get rougher. I just feel tired of feeling so rotten and not being able to take care of my three little munchkins. I have had the best help and support from family and friends, and they are so TOTALLY awesome!

To all of you out there, and you know who you are....YOU ROCK! My little silly princess. LOVE this picture, but not quite sure if it's as much as she loves this potato head! She LOVED this thing!

Well, now that I am down to the wire, and know little M will be here soon, I have been knitting alot more for my shop. I feel like the time left to squeeze in new designs is limited, but believe me, I am in LOVE with my new things. Hope you all will be as well!

Can't wait to share them with you all!

Sorry I am so sporadic in my posts, it's a little crazy over here!

The last couple weeks before I finally deliver are always very rough. But over Sunday into Monday I was feeling SUPER yuckY! So I went in a little early to my scheduled weekly appt for another cervical check. My cervix is ok, and little man is looking great holding at the 5 lb mark. They did find a good amount of blood in my urine though. Come to find out, after a renal ultrasound, I have stones in my right kidney, and I had some sediment in my bladder as well, whcih means I could have passed some. Because of this and the pain, my contractions were acting up as well.

So I spent a night in the hospital with extra fluids, and IV antibiotics. Some extra meds to slow down the contractions.

I am home right now on some pain meds, and all of my other regimen of medications, just trying to hold out for 2 more weeks.

Little M is looking great, but I really want to try to get him a little more time.

I'll keep you all posted!

We have been hit with a HUGE Snowstorm over this way!

The biggest one I've seen since I was a child.

I am really bummed I can't go out in it too!

I am sitting here, behaving myself, cooking little "M" as long as I can.

I have been feeling alot different the last couple of days, not sure whether it's been the weather,

or something's changing. Just hoping we can get a few more weeks under our belts. I am officially 32 today, so I want to hold out at LEAST 2 more weeks, if not 4. We'll see how I can do on that.

I am still knitting up a storm and have SO many new cool things for the shop, I think you will

all be pleasantly surprised!

I miss having my shop open, but can't wait to start using my camera more often with the new little guy and sharing with you all!

He is hitting 32 two weeks now, and surprised us all with a positive fFN Protein test today.

I have had several before with the last couple babies, but no positive's...so as usual, Mr M decided to give us some excitement. Another ultrasound, along with another string of shots for me. Steroids for his lungs...needless to say, I am going to take advantage of an ole saying and tell him he is being a "pain in the butt!" Literally! Since my little ( ***rolling eye***...ok...LARGE) bottom had three large needles jabbed into it today with another one due tomorrow and another every Monday. He should sure know how much his mommy loves him after all this!

He is a whopping 5 lbs, and here is showing off his muscles...little cutie!
I just can't wait until he is big and safe and outside, snuggled in my arms!!!!

WEll today is another day!

Another day closer to my new little man.

And since I have countless items to photograph him in and I want to capture his every moment with my new camera, I thought I would do a little practicing today.I think it's turning out prettygood. The blanket is one of his and something I will be adding to my shop in several colors. A nice size throw, knit in soft, chunky yarn. All BRIGHT & FUN colors!

A Hat I will also be adding, inspired by one of our family favorite movies...Napoleon Dynamite. LOVE the colors of his lockers! My boys will have matching hats! More photos to come.

Love my little guy! Can't wait until the other little one joins him!

That's about the size of it!

The story of my life!

LOL! Here my girls are, making faces, that mirror me!

My pregnancy has entered into the last phase, where literally every moment is spent trying to keep my uterus calm and little man inside. I am on a much different regimen of meds this time, trying to get my body to cooperate. I am on bedrest, and really only leave my chair to hit the powder room, grab a drink, and move to the dining room chair for a bit every morning to teach the girls. The rest of my life is spent in my chair, refereeing and delegating. The kids have been SO good considering! The girls have been a HUGE help, are great at picking up their things, making their beds, bringing down laundry for daddy. DADDY! He is truly my superman, heading into work early every day so that he can come home and make supper, clean house, play and give each child their needed attention. Going out to the grocery store with the mile long list ( believe me, I'm impressed, he came home in good time and went with a child, even stopping on the way home for a hot fudge sundae!) Rock on daddy!
We are at 31+weeks right now, and our next goal is 34, possibly trying to hit 36, but we'll see how things go...we have had a few doozy of days where I am not quite sure how much more my body can take...but one day at a time.
For obvious reasons ( which include pain, inability to get yarn, and get to the POst Office) I have closed my shop for the time being. With all of this down time though, I am knitting when I am able. I have made so many new and cool items, to which I am VERY excited about!
I will be modeling them as soon as my little man comes and then opening back up, complete with SO many new things! Yippee! So please bear with me for a little longer!

A year ago yesterday, we lost our precious baby girl.

It was all very quick and unexpected. As this pregnancy,I had spent a long 8 months doing all in my power to keep her safe.

And in the end, she passed from a very rare bacteria contracted during birth.

Our little princess was baptized before she died, and in our hearts, we KNOW she is a little Saint enjoying the rewards of eternal life.

Though this does not help fill the emptiness of our arms or the whole in our heart...it gives up hope.

Someone sent me this beautiful poem yesterday and it truly helped me remember how happy she is.

Weekly report

Good Saturday to you all!

What a week it's been!
Monday I had an appt, just a consult, in which the Dr suggested I begin Progesterone shots weekly to see if that will help my very irritable uterus.

I am now almost 29 weeks, and Monday we get to take a peek and see how much my cervix is reacting to all of this activity. I can't wait to see little "M". It's been a month, and let me tell you! He makes his presence known. I have a very generous amount of amniotic fluid, which for one adds the extra weight to my uterus causing the contractions, as well as giving my honey ample room for his swimming lessons! HOLY COW! I can actually FEEL him doing his somerasults. He likes to do them consecutively too! Little bugger! Feels like the Olympic tryouts in there! =) But I truly enjoy feeling him be so active, I can feel his feet and hands and know he is a busy little bee in there. I just can't wait to see his little pudgy nose again as well as his chubby cheeks, and little fingers!

It's so hard to describe how I have been feeling lately. I have been feeling SO yucky from these contractions. I am in alot of pain at times, and then extremely tired b/c I can't sleep, so with all of these combined I "feel" like a bad mom to my three little munchkins. Everyone keeps telling me I am doing SO much by just taking care of Max, but without seeing him and actually caring for him, all I can "see" is my inability to "do" much for the three I have now in my care. I am thankful each morning is taken up with homeschooling, which means I can sit, in relative peace and quiet and teach the girls while Little "N" faithfully watches Nemo or Toy Story 2! What would I do without them? ( PIxar) I am not quite sure!

But even something as simple as putting together sandwiches, sliced apples, and crackers can wipe me out...pretty sad, I know.

I know this stage will all be over before I know it, and I will forget all of this discomfort and pain, but for now, these last few months, seem like a LONG haul!

I also have been missing my princess MORE than I can even say, b/c of this, I just wish it was safe and time for little "M" to come. Safe to hold and see and care for my baby and know everything will be alright.

WEll...Sorry for the rambling, I better get back to knitting. Orders have POURED in this month, and I thank you all for your support, it certainly helps keep me sane in my state of bedrest.

I am proud I have been able to stay on top of my orders and get out within 2-5 days of ordering...that is big for me!

Right now I have only 2 to make, so I am taking a short time to knit up the MIriam baby hats I make for the local Maternity ward.
